JA8985 (cn 27652/72) Approaching to perform another set of touch and go during the training flight. We had just passed through the rainy season, which gave us an incredible view of the coral reflection. Those clouds were also affected by the coral reflection. Isn't that amazing? Today, the more flight simulator has been introduced, the more difficult to find a training flight under that perfect scenery. I will be appreciated if you use this photo for your desktop. |

9V-SWE (cn 34570/602) A photo that I have always had always attempted...finally! A night landing shot into Singapore. I photographed about 30 frames, hoping that one would be sharp! You can see the skyline of Singapore (the purple circle in the centre is the Singapore Flyer) as we make the final descent whilst flying PEK-SIN. Considering my son had a fever on this flight, my wife was stressed about it, and I had to take this photo with a blanket over my head to cut out the cabin lighting it was worth the effort [Nikon D3] |

OV-103 (cn OV-103) Many photographers flocked in front of the Launch Pad 39B to watch the service structure rolled away from Discovery at 6:00 pm on June 30, 2006. Despite the fact that the Discovery was not illuminated by the cocktail lights while we were allowed to be there, it was truly a breathtaking moment. As the initial launch attempt in the following day had been scrubbed because of the weather, it finally had hurtled into orbit on July 4 -- the first Fourth of July Launch attempt in NASA's history. |

ZK-NBW (cn 29375/1228) High over Northern Canada enroute to LHR from LAX, and with the moonlight illuminating our wing, I couldn't believe my eyes when I finally saw the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) for the first time. Thanks to Mark & the McCoy family for a wonderful holiday. |
