N1063T (cn 45777/80) Final Departure, Flight 553. On my very first road trip to photograph airliners I spent the day at PIT. Driving home that evening I heard on the radio that a TWA flight from PIT had a mid-air collision with a Beechcraft over Ohio. This is THAT FLIGHT, Flt 553, about to leave the gate at PIT. The aircraft was less than two months old, and I've never seen another photo of it. |

N795TW (cn 18758/391) Landing on 28L at CMH, this is the "other" N795TW, the first being a 720-051B leased in the early sixties. The fellow driving the tractor mower has the job I coveted at the time, and seemed to enjoy watching the planes. |

N1057T (cn 45738/54) An exciting and very busy night at LGA, TWA operated their "Blue Chip Service" hourly between LGA and ORD. AA and UA also operated similar services. This photo was my first time-exposure ever, and I didn't have a tripod! |
