9V-SFD (cn 26553/1069) Ah summer! It’s just a few months away and with it brings some good lighting conditions for the north side of the field. As the sun sets high in the northern latitudes it illuminates landing aircraft from late afternoon to dusk. Here we see “Sing Cargo” cross just to the south of the In-N-Out on her way down to runway 24R. Clear blue skies and palm trees adorn the magnificent 74 freighter ,with the queue for In-N Out take out stretching back around the building and heading west. Local time is now 17:08PDT |

I never thought I would get a chance to photograph this aircraft at night, but on the first night of my trip, waiting patiently for about 2 hours, I got my chance. So, here she is being towed from the remote area to her gate at Terminal 2. |

9V-SGD (cn 560) Soaring over Sepulveda Blvd, the nonstop flight from the Singapore finally comes to an end on this beautiful day. There are quite a few icons in this photo that well represent Los Angeles International Airport. Visible is the very famous LAX sign which greets arriving passengers who have travelled for many miles. The famous In & Out burger joint at LAX, a fellow spotter, an LAPD car, and the clear blue sky also sum up a great day of spotting at this exciting airport. |
