VH-OEJ (cn 32914/1331) I've always dreamed of getting a night shot of Wunala Dreaming. That night we headed up to the parking garage for that purpose, not knowing what was coming in at the only open gate at TBIT. Needless to say I was quite pleased to see Wunala turn the corner, and luckily heavies can't turn into the gate on their own power so it gives you about 2 minutes to snap a few shots while the towbarless tug moves in to bring the aircraft into the gate. |

F-WWJB (cn 007) I had to sprint about 200 yards to get this shot. I saw the A380 cross LAX at 10,000 feet on a diagonal and start to make the turn to base. By the time I parked my car at the Proud Bird restaurant I had about 30 seconds to get into position and take the shot. This is the result: All 22 wheels of this monster are about to touchdown on 25L. |
