This flight "LH499" was cruising through the Atlantic (departed from Mexico to Frankfurt) when the crew had to divert to Lajes due to smoke on board! PH-AOK / OK-509 (cn 834) KLM7472 came in from Paris Orly again for a post-maintenance testflight and the plan was to make a low approach. Now I've seen my fair share of low approaches by now and that includes an actual touch & go, but this one left me breathless again. I was sure it would touch, but it didn't! There was only a few cm's left between the lowest wheel and the runway. It was also the first time they rocked their wings during the climbout. Really cool to see! Thanks guys!! |
