RA-67602 (cn 892229) A cabin view of 67602. A massive additional fuel tank occupies most of it but also makes non-stop flights as long as from Arkhangelsk to Moscow possible. Note that from window seats you can have a view forward through the cockpit windows. |

N106US (cn 1044) [Canon 1D Mark III + Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L] Continuing its historic move to the Carolinas Aviation Museum, the "Miracle on the Hudson" aircraft travels down I-95 in Newark, DE. Earlier in the day, N106US crossed the Delaware Memorial Bridge from New Jersey. The additional logos on the fuselage are companies helping sponsor the move, and if you look closely, the white support vehicle is branded in a US Airways colors. This is my 500th photo in the database. |

N234AA (cn 49181/1125) It'll be a while before you see an airliner hanging in the air over a city street again. American Airlines kindly donated this MD80 to the George T. Baker Aviation school across the street from MIA. It was craned from the airport perimeter to LeJeune Road, then tugged over to the school in the middle of the night |

N462M (cn 14153) During my visit to the museum last year all was normal so imagine my shock when I saw the cylinder protruding through the cowling of the #2 engine! All appeared legit to me until I received an email from Carlos Gomez. Carlos said that the cylinder protruding through the cowling was a front row cylinder but that it was protruding through the rear of the cowling above the rear row of cylinders. Gotta wonder what’s going on here? |
