Since 1. 5. 2009 serves 211. tl in QRA NATINADS concurrently at home base 21. zTL Caslav in Czech republic and too in the first czech contingent at Siauliai-Zokniai AB in Lithuania. The Baltic Air Policing mission is NATO air defence QRA in order to guard the airspace over the three Baltic states Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. |

While many carriers from this region arrive in the morning and return overseas by lunch time, many others elect to have their aircraft stay several hours on the ground before their trip home. Here, we see one of Air Pacific's B747-400s being towed to TBIT prior to its late evening flight home to paradise. We're leaving runway 01 here with a nice view on the executive ramp (with 747SP) and a wide view of The Strip. US Airways crew took excellent care of us. |
