D-ABYD (cn 37829/1453) Isn't she gorgeous? With a new wing, stretched upper deck and fuselage! It was an honor to have the World's Longest Passenger Airliner flying past me in close distance. [Nikon D800] |

N883FD (cn 39285/897) An ultra wide-angle perspective of the 777F. "Abbi" was resting prior to her flight back to Memphis via Dubai, with her nose wheels weighed down to prevent the tail from tipping. Gotta love those raked wingtips! [Canon EOS 40D + Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM] |

VH-OQJ (cn 062) The world's first dual A380 flyover happened today in Sydney. Flying in close formation, this occasion marked the official start of a historic partnership between Qantas Airways and Emirates. The flyover was done under a special call sign "Seismic", as Tim Clark says the EK-QF partnership had caused seismic shift in the global aviation. Interestingly, Delta-Yankee disappeared from the radar after takeoff - was the TCAS system switched off? I quite like how the two prominent tails aligns one another. |
