Aeroflot - Russian Airlines
Ilyushin Il-96-300
In Flight
Russia, March 20, 2014
Remark
Photographer
RA-96007 (cn 74393201004) Finally I got a ride on this amazing Machine! Such a stunning feeling you get inside this aircraft, all planes of Ilyushin design bureau are famous of their reliability and build quality. You feel like in an aircraft that was made by engineers not by a managers. There is no plastic feeling like you get in Airbus or Boeing. You feel like in huge well-built airliner that piloting by a PILOT not by a computer... At 30th of March Aeroflot will stop using Ilyushin IL-96. [5D mkIII + EF 15 f/2.8]

1716 (cn 382-5023) There's no better location to view the Golden Gate Bridge than from a Coast Guard C-130...Note the trail of dust left behind from our engines.

USA - Kentucky, June 2, 1983
Remark
Photographer
C-FTLU (cn 47196/288) This picture was taken by Capt. Grieder (Delta, B727), when he and his crew performed a go-around during this dreadful day in Cincinnati. The AirCanada DC9 (on fire) landed only a few seconds before this picture was taken. The DC9 performed an emergency landing on 27L (today 27), when Capt. Grieder's B727 was on short final for runway 18 (today 18R) and was then advised to go around. Photo scanned by Jan Von Wuthenau.

PH-BFG / FG-003 (cn 24517/782) Well I don’t think this really needs a comment. It speaks for itself. Truly SXM trademark at its best. If he were much lower he would have gotten the fence and these guys’ heads. Not very often you see grown men ducking down there. What an awesome weekend this was. Thanks guys!

PH-BUI (cn 21111/276) KLM Flight 9165 from Amsterdam to Dubai, cruising at FL350, seen from 1000 ft above. Maybe the largest trails I've ever seen... This B747, named 'Wilbur Wright', will be replaced December this year by a 747-400ER freighter
