F-GNII (cn 399) After waiting for 5 hours for a plane that wouldn't come , we were about to leave. When suddendly we saw a A340 shape outlined in the horizon after his long journey over the Atlantic. He glanced through and blew the beach in the last rays of light and the night covered the friendly island. Anthony Guerra and Adrien Daste, were dreaming! |

CCCP-77102 / 451 (cn 01-2) Not great quality, but evocative, taken the day before its fatal crash. Concorde cruises up and away, leaving Charger to its fate. |

F-WWDD (cn 004) This is what happens when you get caught in the middle of a dust and grass storm kicked up by the A380 as it rotated and turned sharply at the start of its 2008 display. |

01 (cn 01) The amazing creation of Rene Leduc, who sucessfully demonstrated his obsession with the ramjet engine concept. The Leduc 010 was released at altitude from a four-engined Sud SE-161 Languedoc transport aircraft (a section of which is retained here). After release the pilot would fire up the ramjet and the aircraft flew. This aircraft flew a test program until retirement in 1953. The pilots were VERY brave. |
