American Airlines
Boeing 737-823
Dallas / Fort Worth - International (DFW / KDFW)
USA - Texas, January 28, 2013
Remark
Photographer
N908NN / 3JT (cn 31157/4247) Three 737 jets with three different AA liveries lined up at DFW Terminal C. Astrojet colours N951AA on C4 inbound from SNA and current livery N845NN on C6 inbound from LGA join N908NN on C2 wearing the new livery. The weather certainly didn't cooperate, but my fellow AA operations tower folks deserve a big thank you for the great photo opportunity! Taken from the rooftop of the AA operations tower.

G-VLCN / XH558 (cn SET12) The best moment of 2010 for me - the iconic Vulcan flying straight into the evening sunlight, with her fantastic howl deafening everything! Perfect.

G-VLCN / XH558 (cn SET12) It is still amazing to see this aircraft flying, even more amazing was the display at RIAT 2011.

Untitled
Avro 698 Vulcan B2
Farnborough (FAB / EGLF)
UK - England, July 15, 2012
Remark
Photographer
G-VLCN / XH558 (cn SET12) The Highlight of the 2012 Farnborough Airshow flying displays on the two public days was Avro Vulcan G-VLCN / XH-558. The Vulcan’s display was the last on the Flying Program on both days. On Sunday 15Jul2012, the 'Spirit of Great Britain’ took off from Rwy 24 into dark threatening skies, but momentarily caught a glint of light. The moment 'made my day’. The last time I saw a Vulcan fly was Sister-ship XH559 at the RAAF 50th Anniversary Airshow at Laverton, Victoria, Australia on 18April1971.
