N918FR (cn 1943) While I was only catching my connecting flight to LAX in Denver and wasn't even on Frontier, I still had to try and photograph the 'famous' animal parade at the airline's hub. "Jake" The Whitetail Deer is here seen in the early morning sunlight with a few of his friends, all of whom are living somewhere in the United States and depicted on the tail fins of Frontier. Indeed a bunch of "whole different animals"! |

A6-EDF (cn 007) What a beautiful evening it was! As the giant whale comes into light at a cloudy 'Row, shiny silver sections start glowing in the sun as it glides in on very final approach to runway 27L. Even from this tilted angle the GP7000 engines look still tremendously huge that carry the sleek heavy metal all around safely. It is said this type of engine produces less than 75g of carbon dioxyide emission per passenger and kilometer - almost half of the European target for cars manufactured in 2008. |

Flight IBE6464 from Guayaquil (SEGU) in Ecuador to Madrid (LEMD) had to divert to Lajes due to a 21 year old passenger who was carrying 500 grams of cocaine inside him. 300 of the 500 grams burst and caused the passenger to die.
