TF-FIV (cn 30424/956) On the occasion of the Icelandic Silver Medalist Olympic team arriving in Iceland they were flown seperately from Keflavik to Reykjavík for a royal welcome celebration. TF-FIV was accompanied by two Coast Guard helicopters and DC-3, TF-NPK. The 757 captain got permission for a low approach to runway 19 and here is was must certainly be an Olympic record for low approaches by a 757 approximately 20 feet off the runway in this photo. |

F-WWDD (cn 004) Airbus A380 F-WWDD comes to the famous crosswind field. The A380 did six landings in 40-50 knot 90? crosswinds, landing on runway 02, turning around on the other end and taking off on runway 20. This is the last landing taken from the south taxiway with the runway easily visible. Note the condensation from the engines. |
