164342 / AJ-100 (cn 617/D-22) This was a quite remarkable moment - after the last public flight of an F-14, all four VF-31 Tomcats, led by AJ100, turned to the public and lowered the front gear as if they were preparing to launch from a carrier. Really nice!

Remark
Photographer
164603 / AJ-101 (cn 631/D-36) "Felix 101". F-14 demo aircraft (flown by a hometown pilot) for the Ft.Lauderdale Air and Sea Show is making a high speed pass with wings swept back. The aqua/teal coloration on the underbelly of the aircraft is caused by the reflection of the ocean surface that is just out of sight of the picture. Bye bye Tomcat and VF-31 Tomcatters. The RIO is using a small camera to photograph the hundreds of thousands of people on the beach watching the Tomcat.
