No cameras are allowed during the tour, but you will have a great time!

PH-BFS / FS-036 (cn 28195/1090) Looks like a Hangar-landing. Aircraft is off the ground by means of only 3 jacks. People underneath look even smaller now then they normally do.

Lockheed L-1011-385-1-15 TriStar 200(F)
Panama City - Tocumen (General Omar Torrijos Herrera) (PTY / MPTO)
Panama, February 6, 1998
Remark
Photographer
N103CK (cn 193N-1212) Result of an aborted take off with full load from Panama in 1998. What really happened was that No.2 engine surged at take off. No.3 engine was EGT limited and could not handle a power increase. Therefore, the captain had to abort the take off. Fuse plugs blew in only 7 tires not 8 as has been reported (see pic). COPA maintenance assisted with the tire changes using inadequate 737 jacks. No.2 engine was changed and N103CK was flown back to Miami.

Remark
Photographer
VH-NJW (cn E2034) Up on 5 sets of jacks, 3 for the fuselage, and 2 more to bend the wings into "Flight Mode" in order to remove the leading edge for repairs to wiring. The wings are normally like this in flight only. This Bae-146 reportedly aquaplaned and overran the runway at Catarman, Philippines. The aircraft came to rest in a muddy rice field. It's registration at the time was RP-C2995. Incident occured 14 Nov 2005. No fatalities or serious injuries.

UR-82060 (cn 19530503763) The rear part of the upperdeck on the 225 is used as a huge electronics room. When inside this aircraft it's sometimes hard to believe you're in an airplane and not a ship, this could have been an "engine room".

HB-IQH (cn 288) That's why I love a long lens! Too far away and too fast for your own eyes, you'd never be able to see this: The tire that's already made contact with terra firma is spinning like mad while on the front one you can clearly read the tire brand, it's amazing! Check it out, you'll like it I'm sure!
