As a big thunderstorm was just passing the field, the sun was slowly starting to show again, creating these very nicely lit clouds. On the left side of runway 4, a very small part of the total line-up is visible including a few DC-3's, Buckeye, L-39's and a big part of the B17. |

OD-MRT / F-WWIC (cn 3736) Beautiful take-off from runway 21 on a short flight to Amman on Middle East Airlines Flight 310. The runway protruding into the Mediterranean Sea, runway 16/34, is the airport's newest runway having opened in 2001. It was built to move landing traffic away from the city. The old runway 17/35 is still used, but mostly for general aviation traffic. The dark patches on the runways are the repairs made after Israel bombed the airport in July 2006.
