Thai Airways International
Airbus A300B4-622R
Bangkok - International (Don Muang) (DMK / VTBD)
Thailand, November 16, 2011
Remark
Photographer
HS-TAK (cn 566) One of two Airbus A300s (the other being HS-TAL) left behind at Don Muang Airport when it was flooded. The landing gear and engine nacelles have been bagged to protect them. At it's highest level it appears the water was about a foot above the bottom of the engine nacelle. Now going on three weeks sitting in the water.

Tokyo - Narita International (New Tokyo) (NRT / RJAA)
Japan, March 2005
Remark
Photographer
Jumpseat view of NRT's second runway, opened in 2002 after more than 10 years of - still unresolved - dispute with local landowners, that led the original project to be shifted to the north. The unusable south section, marked by red crosses, is split from the 2.180 m runway by a private property. The taxiway deviates around another property; due to lack of lateral separation, aircraft must hold for traffic on the runway before entering the by-pass.

JA8537 (cn 46967/265) Taken from the top of a 27-storey building, where we got this wonderful view as backdrop, and where even fast-climbing planes appeared to sweep by at eye-level. Thanks to fellow a.net photographer Mr. Alan Tsui for finding this spot. (Nikon F90X; Fujichrome Velvia)

Untitled (Solid Air)
Dassault Falcon 2000EX
In Flight
Netherlands, March 2009
Remark
Photographer
PH-CHT (cn 40) the first businessjet to pose behind the Invicta Skyvan photoship! We are on the way to the coast of Scheveningen for a photoshoot over the famous 'kuhrhaus'....here the Falcon was still flying with the slats extended, but in the second part of the photoflight she was used to us and gave us a fantastic show in cruising configuration. At the same time a commercial film was produced for the company. Businessjets will be among the many participating aircraft in the first Air-to-Air Academy!

Air Koryo
Tupolev Tu-154B-2
Pyongyang - Sunan (FNJ / ZKPY)
North Korea, May 10, 2005
Remark
Photographer
P-561 (cn 83A573) Four Tu-154B-2's and one IL-62, parked right next to the passenger terminal. There is only little traffic at Pyongyang airport, the only plane I saw moving during my stay at the airport was the aircraft I left with. Interestingly and against all rumours, I was told it is no problem to take photos, so I did with pleasure.
