Cessna U206... Stationair II
Off-Airport - Atocha
Bolivia, July 11, 2008
Remark
Photographer
CP-1305 I was so surprised to find an airplane in this remote mining village enclosed by mountains, and thus, with no nearby airstrip. The propeller is fake and the landing gear is fitted with automobile tires. The copper statues placed underneath the Cessna represent a miner and a local Coya Indian woman.

Wendover (ENV / KENV)
USA - Utah, May 19, 2005
Remark
Photographer
Base operations at Wendover, the former home of the B-29 crews who dropped the atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Some of the base has been converted to civilian use, but most of it has simply been left to warp and tatter in the baking heat. The roaring engines of the Enola Gay have faded to a distant drone, gone forever from the hot blue sky, now a neon cowboy greets travelers along Interstate 80 on their way to some stateline casino action.
