LX-BPO (cn 1045) LUXGSM World Balloon Trophy 2009 - LUXGSM World Balloon Trophy is a competition that takes place over several days. The Saturday evening always ends with a big festival around the Lake of Echternach. The highlight of the evening is a great firework display over a selection of balloons participating into the competition. This show by nice summer weather is always a delight for the audience who were still numerous this year. |

9V-SPL (cn 26557/1101) I can still remember this day very clearly; I was driving past the hangars when I saw this incredible looking colour scheme parked at the remote bays!! The only way I knew it was Singapore Airlines was the colouring of the tail, and when I looked closer, the slogan on the forward fuslage "Now more than ever, a great way to fly" as I knew that SQ's tagline was "A great way to fly"......thank you SQ for creating such a great scheme and giving me many wonderful memories!
