VH-TBS (cn 20278/768) FF 20.10.69, del 31.10.69 as VH-RMS Ansett. To C2-RN7 Air Nauru 16.5.80. Leased to TAA Cargo 3.84 (Australian Airlines Cargo 4.8.86). Bought 3.87 & rereg VH-TBS, in basic Air Nauru livery as seen here. Named "Ernest Giles". Stuck at Perth from 24.8.89 due to AFAP pilot strike, it finally departed 21.1.90 to Melbourne. Sold to National Jet, Sherrard Aviation, Premier Airlines, Australian Air Express, Air Cargo Australia, Transaustralian Air Express, WFU 31.10.03 Brisbane, to Aviation Australia.

G-BCDA (cn 19281/378) This was the fourth of five 727s bought by Dan-Air from JAL to begin the replacement of Comets from 1972, and had only been in service for a couple of weeks at the time of this photo in her original DA colours. From 12.90 she took up a career in Colombia when leased to SAM as HK-3612X, going on to Aerorepublica as HK-3841X in 6.93. Last reported as derelict with Ibero Americana de Cargo
