Remark

N332NW (cn 319) An Ops vehicle on the 25L caused the plane infront (USAir) to go around and instead of NW going around as well, we've opted to sidestep the inside runway: 25R. Here, the Captain flys the final approach and be sure to check out the storms on the MFD.. pretty rare for Southern California this close to the coast!

Remark

N321US / 3221 (cn 262) After waiting for thunderstorms to pass we're finally ready to rock and roll. The Captain hits the highbeams while the First Officer brings in power as we begin our takeoff roll down runway 19. I also like how out the FO window you can see the ATC tower and passenger concourse..

Remark
Photographer
N312US / 3212 (cn 152) Due to the marine layer there was a bit of fog every night, but this night we went from CAT I to CAT III in just 15 minutes. Resulting in almost no chance to get a clean shot. Everybody who knows LAX got the impression now how foggy it was, the terminal in behind is not very clear to see...

Edmonton - International (YEG / CYEG)
Canada - Alberta, November 18, 2004
Remark
Photographer
N340NB (cn 1714) Cough cough. Engine start up. The smoke is a result of the onboard engine computer switching from one ignition circuit to the backup. The CFM engines have an A and B circuit. In the micro second it takes to switch, it dumps raw fuel in producing smoke. Normal for some Airbus to do this.

N346NW / 3246 (cn 400) Normally besides HP, you have a tough time finding a plane that does not have a red tail from the MSP Obs Deck. A majority of these a/c, including the DL 737, are RON. Enjoy.
