N968DL (cn 53161/1808) DL 1859 to DTW is taking off from Logan's runway 9 on a gloomy, foggy evening. Periodic snow and rain showers resulted in a high degree of condensation which turned the lights of all the planes into light beams. The position of the wing and the lights on the MD-88 almost make it look like an X-Wing firing its lasers! Crazy day. Never seen anything like that before. This is a quite common few during the christmas holiday and new year´s eve when order books are traditionally empty. This year FRAport placed them on taxiway S beginning with "Papa" following "Fox", "Sierra", "Delta", "Bravo", "Alpha", "Lima" and "Juliett". |
