On this night, due to volcanic ash from Eyjafjallajokull, many aircraft are parked in all available spaces at Terminal E and North Cargo. From left to right, an Air France B747, British Airways B747, Lufthansa A340, 4 American aircraft, British Airways B777, Delta A330 and multiple corporate jets from the Signature FBO ramp. Normally this small body of water frequently has too many ripples to make for a nice reflection, but the wind died out just long enough to snap a few shots. Handheld 1/8th f/4 ISO800. |

CS-TKN (cn 624) This month of November had been really good for us spotters, with so many different things coming by!! Not being a different A/C, this one deserved some attention... These pilots were caught in some wind shear, and it was really close to total disaster, since the wing almost touched the ground! You can also see the stress in main landing gear... At that time, there were gusts up to 44 knots of crosswind, and heavy turbulence was reported! I'm glad that everything ended up well.. [Canon 40D + Sigma 120-400 |
