The Flight is now the Engineering Authority for all Spitfire variants, which means it has authority for approving engineering standards and modifications for the aircraft worldwide, an authority held in normal circumstances by an aircraft manufacturer. |

N348MS (cn 001) A closer look at the two PW308A engines and the port side main l/g. I was sick with a bad cold, but could not miss the oppurtunity to see this bird, much less work on it. The weather was bad for the couple days I was there, and to make it worse, the Space Shuttle landed at Edwards Airforce base the day before I arrived and then departed on the B747 the day after I left. Of course those two days that I missed the Shuttle were clear and sunny. @$% |
