VH-OQF (cn 029) As I positioned my camera in preparation to take this shot, the still of the morning was so noticeable. Then, in a matter of seconds the unique sounds of the Trent 900’s, a mere 200ft above me, (60 m) engulfed me from behind. The last second throttle corrections were like listening to a fine piece of surround sound music, as each engine spools up moments apart and filled each ear differently. An experience I will not forget. Here we see QF93 on short final for 24R. Local time was 7:51PDT. |
