For me, the imagination allows me to think that the high wing of Cessna 172 looks like a mast of sailboat. In a reality, our 172 is now flying over the Knik Glacier when the sun is about to set. Flying in the mountains gave me a ton of photo oppertunities. This is possibly the coolest, located at the top of a mountain near Asheville the airport elevation is 4,400 feet and the tallest part of the mountain was 6,000 feet. You need permission to land there but it looks like there is a nice resort and golf course next to it. Notice the vibrant colours of the leaves as they start to turn. |

You can see the wreck of Louilla resting atop the north end of the reef where she ran aground in September 1981. On the other side of the reef many diving boats can be seen and you can spot the small lighthouse on the reef as well. |

What a beautiful night scenes of Kai Tak Intl. Airport and it surroundings. After seven year Kai Tak closed it make a lot of change, a tall buildings have been built around the IGS area and even the eastern part of Hong Kong Island. Airport tower, terminals, and car park building have been pull down, except the only one left near the airport hotel. The famous Checkerboard Hill near Kowloon Tsai Park and Chinese Christian Cemetery Hill can be seen. Photo dedicate to all Kai Tak lovers and spotters. |
