The tiny Japanese character below the tiger insignia on the rudder of this Intruder was so interpreted (as I was told); an altogether fitting motto for a member of Attack Sqn. 65 Tigers from NAS Oceana, VA. The squadron commander's plane, it also happens to be the next-to-last Intruder built (nearly brand new at this time) and was visiting the NAS Atlanta t-line. |
