Scandinavian Airlines - SAS
Saab 340A
Stockholm - Arlanda (ARN / ESSA)
Sweden, August 1993
Remark
Photographer
SE-ISE (cn 340A-156) Delivered new to Swedair in 1989. After the merger in SAS in 1993 this aircraft was briefly (for a few weeks only) painted in full SAS colours. Due to objections from the swedish pilots union they were never able to fly the aircraft with pilots from cheaper regional airlines. The union stated that a SAS painted a/c should be flown by SAS pilots.
