N77014 (cn 29862/253) I had a flight back home the night before, but when I found out MAX was doing IAH - NRT on the next day I decided to stay at IAH... With no place to go, no money, no food, no hotel… not anything. I managed to survive the night in between terminals as I waited for a moment I had dreamed for a long time... I was rewarded with this superb 18mm shot of MAX that I will treasure for all my life. |

N524VA (cn 3204) Qantas 747-400 (VH-OEI) is seen going around, climbing past us in the A319. We were performing a parallel ("side-by") approach to Runway 28 in San Francisco (SFO) when apparently the heavy couldn't stay behind us and had to go around. It was the most spectacular thing I have ever seen from inside an airplane! |

G-APAV (cn 13263) During this period two Super Freighters were painted in Sabena colours to operate a pooled route between Southend and Ostend. From time to time one of the Super Freighters was configured to a 60 seater to provide additional passenger capacity on the route. During 1962 owner Channel Air Bridge at Southend and Silver City at Lydd worked in close association with each other and finally merged into what became British United Air Ferries on 1st January 1963. This is the last Bristol 170 built. |

9V-SMC (cn 24063/736) Inspired by Mr. Hunt, I couldn't resist any longer to dig up a real Kai Tak shot. After spending some days on the building for the famous banking shots, I decided to go elsewhere. I found another nice roof and after a while, I was accompanied by a guy. Years later on, I discovered that it was Alan Tsui when I saw his photo on this site and which can be seen here. Compare and you'll find out that everything is similar.... |
