FedEx - Federal Express

Las Vegas - McCarran International (LAS / KLAS)
USA - Nevada, October 31, 2010
Remark
Photographer
N68050 (cn 47804/142) Woohoo! This MD-10 Freighter arrives 25L in place of the standard A300 on Sunday. This aircraft needs a new paint job rather badly indeed! Hard to believe this dinosaur was operating passenger flights with Continental in the 70's! 1400 Pixels Wide!

FedEx - Federal Express
McDonnell Douglas MD-11F
Los Angeles - International (LAX / KLAX)
USA - California, October 25, 2008
Remark
Photographer
N606FE (cn 48602/549) A heavy tri-holer in the morning just after sunrise, what else could one possibly need. As this loaded FedEx MD-11 freighter is seen rocketing out of LAX after take off on rwy 25R, a Horizon Bombardier Dash 8-400 is seen on final approach for the parallel 24R to the North. The San Gabriel mountains make for a nice background and the haze-free air guarantees another great day in the LA basin. This one's for J, one of LAX's finest!

Pakistan International Airlines - PIA
Boeing 777-240/ER
Quetta - International (Samungli) (UET / OPQT)
Pakistan, October 26, 2010
Remark
Photographer
AP-BGK (cn 33776/469) The dust kicks close to lift off as downwash from wings coupled with thrust hit runway and spill onto unprepared surface. It trails behind by a distance twice the length of aircraft. Traffic is managed till cloud of dust vanish which takes around three to four minutes in light wind. No worries about safety.
