G-YMMJ (cn 30311/311) This aircraft suffered a fairly substantial bird-strike as it was about to land on Runway 27R. Birds can be seen being hit by the nose, fuselage and undercarriage and several were ingested into the starboard engine too, without apparent effect |

N325US / 3225 (cn 281) My #1000th photo and also my last upload to airliners.net. Aviation Photography was a thrill for me until I literally let it run my life. Photography distracted me from my primary goal in life: to become a professional aviator. So now, with my CFI-CFII-MEI Certificates in hand, I'm putting the camera down and picking up the headset to build hours as a Flight Instructor. It's been a blast sharing my photos here.. and I hope you've enjoyed them (and the corny comments too!!).. Thank you airliners.net!! |

N792AN / 7BA (cn 30253/292) Normally, I am very happy when I can catch two aircarft in action in one frame. I never thought that I would be able to catch three in one frame until today. I saw the American B777 turning off 25L, the Continental B757 rolling down 25R, and the United B777 on finals for 24R and I thought......maybe, just maybe. Well, here is the product of a lot positive thinking as they all came together as I wanted...my own personal Christmas present! [Nikon D3] |

CU-T1284 (cn 4053732) CU-T1284. Very rare plane! Taking off to Cuba in a cloudy morning. Beautiful plane...i just love it! Not the best of quality, but a beautiful and special photo to me. Check out the condensation over the wings. Dedicated to my friend Leonardo Mello and his father. Thanks for company. [Nikon D5000 - 70/300 f/4:5.6 - ISO 1600] |
