USA - Air Force
McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle
In Flight
Iceland, July 1996
Remark
Photographer
80-0003 / EG (cn 636/C152) Taken from a tanker, where one has lttle control over where the sun is relative to the subject. One just has to make the best of the situation. Who would want to complain anyway. This Eagle has a single green star on the front fuselage, signifying a Gulf War victory. It shot down an Iraqi MI-8 on Feb 7, 1991 with AIM-7M.
