JA8772 (cn 2146) Is retracting her air stair before the door is closed. After enjoying 25 minutes rest in this rural but beautiful airport, she will be bound for Sapporo Chitose again. It is quite common sights in Japan, but I cannot find this image in the Airliners.net so far that I would like to submit it. The three ramp personnel watch the whole procedure just to make sure everything looks fine. One of the ground staff told me that they are very proud of taking care of this faithful bird until its retirement. |

It is named "Joseph W. Wagner", and was purchased in 1983 and withdrawn from service in July 1988. It was broken up during 1992-1993. |

JA8644 (cn 2010) OK! We are ready to go! The captain is also giving his big "thumbs up." This aged Nippon YS-11 (built in June 1965 - 28 years had passed when this photo was taken) is heading for Tsushima (TSJ) performing a 35 minutes island hopping flight; however, they might have to return back here due to the heavy cross wind at the destination. Nagasaki is located at the westernmost part of Kyusyu Island in Japan facing to the Korean Peninsula and China. Trust.., that would be the most precious thing in human nature. |
