N18121 (cn 1997) One of the many aircraft participating in "The Last Time" gathering marking the 75th anniversary of the first flight of the DC3. The organisers had hoped that over 40 aircraft would attend but by the Sunday morning only 24 aircraft had managed to make it as a result of bad weather in the area. 23 of the aircraft flew in formation to AirVenture 2010 at Oshkosh on Monday 26 July. |

N25673 (cn 2213) Lone Star Flight Museum. This DC-3 was built in 1940 and delivered to American Airlines. In 1947 the aircraft was sold to Trans-Texas Airways and flew with them until the aircraft was place in storage in 1969. Provincetown-Boston Airlines brought the aircraft in 1977 and flew the aircraft until 1988. In 1989 Continental Airliners acquired the aircraft and restored her to the Continental colors of the 1950s. (Canon 350D + 17-55 IS) |

Spot this photo without expectation when I am waiting for the arrival of Northwest B742's last international flight from Tokyo in the morning.
