F-WWDD (cn 004) Dedicated to our group of car fanatics, XENON galore on the A380. Look how the wings droop and form an inverted "U" shape.

Hamburg - Finkenwerder (XFW / EDHI)
Germany, August 25, 2005
Remark
Photographer
F-GSTF (cn 796) Maybe it wasn't so clever to take my camera out on such an awful day but the thought of some serious Beluga spray action was too much to resist.

EC-JNQ (cn 727) Many people gather at La Candela Restaurant and the vicinities of the airport to see this big bird land on the weekends, but nobody was ready for what happened this time. What a show.

JetBlue Airways
Airbus A320-232
Long Beach - Daugherty Field (LGB / KLGB)
USA - California, September 21, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N536JB (cn 1784) Del 05/24/2002 "Canyon Blue", tail livery "Squares" ex Airbus F-WWDS performs a low pass for the LGB tower for a nose gear inspection, and as you can see the nose gear is in a 90-degree position. Following the flyby, the aircraft spent the next 2 hours flying over the Pacific Ocean just off Long Beach burning fuel before diverting to LAX for an emergency landing, which happily was a succesful one without injuries.

Cathay Pacific Airways
Airbus A330-342
Singapore - Changi (SIN / WSSS)
Singapore, November 11, 2001
Remark
Photographer
B-HLC (cn 099) "Are you looking at me 'cos I'm looking at you and I've got right of way!" A one in a million shot for me, which left me estatic. I saw the 2 SQ B747s being held to allow the CX A330 to pass, and decided to try a photo. I didn't realise that the two sets of pilots would be having a staring match.

British Airways
Aerospatiale-BAC Concorde 102
London - Heathrow (LHR / EGLL)
UK - England, October 10, 2003
Remark
Photographer
G-BOAE (cn 212) How lucky can you get. All week Concorde was running late with arrivals/departures only after sunset. Today she was right on time, but the weather was lousy all day. However just as she came on short final, the sun came out setting her in beautiful evening light . . . WOW! Canon 10D, 100-400L @ 400mm [+50% digital crop], handheld 1/100, f/8.0; IS is a great thing on big glass!

Remark
Photographer
G-MAYA / 64 (cn 394912) An appropriate registration - 'Maya' being the NATO code-name for the L-29 Delfin. The nose landing gear doors are almost closed in this early gear up take off. This aircraft was destroyed on the 18th August 2000 during 'Airbourne 2000' an airshow on the sea front at Eastbourne, Sussex U.K. sadly killing the pilot.
