NEK stands for "Neue Europa Kabine" (New Europe Cabin). The bins have been modified and the seats are sleeker to allow a higher passenger density without reducing leg space. The forward wardrobe has been removed as well. The deco elements show the Lufthansa brand on brushed aluminum. The light grey and blue elements create an even more reputable look in my opinion.
