Untitled (Air Atlanta Icelandic)
Boeing 747-267B
Glasgow - International (Abbotsinch) (GLA / EGPF)
UK - Scotland, July 3, 2004
Remark
Photographer
TF-ATD (cn 21966/446) Yes it is all white but what makes this one interesting is that it was leaving Glasgow from Runway 23 on it's way to Orlando and you can see the last link below it at the 05 end also the Piano keys are visible beneath it. This was one of the longest departures I have ever seen at Glasgow and even the Tower mentioned it. (D60 ISO 100 1/750th & F8 165mm)

Spanair
McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (DC-9-83)
Glasgow - International (Abbotsinch) (GLA / EGPF)
UK - Scotland, April 24, 2004
Remark
Photographer
EC-GHE (cn 49398/1332) I expected the usual long run from this departing Spanair MD80 but it was airborne quicker than any of this type I had seen before, it was only on looking at my photos later that I noticed how close it was to a tail strike. (D60 ISO 100 1/500 @ F8 400mm shot)

Corsair
Boeing 747-312
Glasgow - International (Abbotsinch) (GLA / EGPF)
UK - Scotland, May 20, 2003
Remark
Photographer
F-GSUN (cn 23030/593) There are very few 747 visitors to Glasgow but over three days there were ones from three different airlines to uplift Celtic Football supporters to their UEFA Cup Final game in Seville Spain, here the Corsair 747 has just touched down on runway 23 and is burning rubber.

Remark
Photographer
F-GSUN (cn 23030/593) Departing with a full load of Celtic Football supporters to Seville Spain for the UEFA Cup Final, the operations vehicle sitting at the Link gives a good size perspective to the 747.
