N714CK (cn 22446/519) Just speechless. A very sad sight... Kallita Air 747 operated by Centurion Air Cargo, departed this morning at 3:50 am declaring engine fire on the 4th engine. It began a go around procedure trying to land in El Dorado International again. Unforrtunately it didnt make it. My thoughts go to those who lost their lives in the house that this beast ran over. |

N714CK (cn 22446/519) The most shocking image I have ever taken in my short airplane enthusiasm career. The shot a lot of people were waiting to see. Notice the mud of the rescue team that entered the cockpit from the broken glass on the right. Also notice that the first officer´s seat was removed to ease his way out of the plane. At last note the position of the controls! I will never forget the real sight of this, my first time in a 747 cockpit, well if we can consider it one. |

TC-JDM (cn 115) Operating as TK 720 from Istanbul, "Izmir" veered off a rapid exit taxiway and got stuck in the mud while exiting runway 27 on arrival around 4:15 AM today. The evacuation slide has been deployed on the opposite side. The incident happened close to the main runway, which will remain shut temporarily till the aircraft is cleared and relocated.
