Mexico City Airport Overview. This is the first photo in database that now shows Mexico's new Terminal 2 that was opened in December of 2008. Too bad it's not summer, it would have looked really nice with green grass! |

XA-MIA (cn 35119/2273) Almost two months have gone by since Mexicana stopped flying our skies, at first, this place was packed with all the fleet grounded, but they have slowly departed in search for new life... no more A318's, no more A330's but still quite some variety you can see on this shot with more than 60 birds visible on a nice autumn morning. This place 'aint the same without Mexicana |

XA-MXC (cn 24349/244) This lone 767 is seen without an engine along with 10 Fokker-100's (3 of them already white), 6 717's and 4 younger A320 family birds in the northern ramp of Mexico City airport, and as the old Enya song says: "Who can say why your heart sighs, As your love flies, Only time... " Yes, only time.. only time will tell if this birds will keep flying our desolated Mexican skies. [Canon EOS 7D from AMX 276 MEX-GDL] |
