N923FT (cn 22769/562) Simply stunning. I'm very sorry it's not crisp sharp, but unforgettable image! Took off with 23 knot winds. Apparently crosswinded takeoff. Totally out of the Axis, and kicking out lots of dust! Workers on the left of the Runway taking shelter!! Unforgettable! Sorry that it looks unlevel, but runway is horribly paved and I'm in a fuzzy angle! |

PH-BQG / QG-007 (cn 32704/476) Love these powerful rotations: lots of moisture on the runway and in the engines as this 777 departs runway 24. Sadly I have to dig these shots up from my archive now as this location is no more. |

N752SA (cn 21255/295) Is taking off using the full length of Rwy 32 at Anchorage. Snow on the ground was blown up by the jet blast created by four CF6s. You might also notice that some fractured ice (that I presume) falling down from the main gear are captured. As I was aware that this location makes me backlit, I intended to take this image which was already completed in my mind before I click the shutter. It depicts the grace of flight and majesty of B.747 I would say. We are in 20F allowing us to capture such a crisp image. |

N637JB (cn 2781) During calm winds it appears JetBlue requests to depart westbound out of SXM. It could be because there destination is to the west anyway, but given an option of not departing towards that small mountain, I would do the same! The cloud of dust on the right side of the picture was some sand that the engines kicked up from the Runway Extension Safety Area project ongoing at the east end of the runway. |
