PH-BFM (cn 26373/896) How many times have you gone to the airport with the hope of getting some good shots, and come home with nothing useable? Or, just went out for the day, not expecting much, and came home with some real treasures? Luck, along with a bit of skill, plays a big part in getting a really special shot. That particular morning we had a late season cold front move through the area. I really didn't expect it to clear out and took a chance on driving down to LAX. But, as you can see, luck was on my side! |

G-VROS (cn 30885/1268) English Rose roars away from a wet Manchester as James Rowson and Dale Coleman shoot this beast. Virgin's new 747-400 service to Orlando, replacing the aging 200's is a welcome sight. This shot gives the distinct impression that the photographers are on the same level as the departing 747. Whereas, really there is a 40ft hill in front of them and then a 20ft high fence before you are airside. |
