JA8582 (cn 48573/559) Just made it through the Friday afternoon traffic in time to get this shot. Doesn't it just look massive?! Well, that's why I always go to the airport whenever there is a lot of wind and they come in from the east over the town of Kloten. Just compare the size of the MD11 to the house! Taken with a wide angle. |

N2**UP It is always delighted to see some snow on the undercarriage is blown off by the air stream. This UPS MD-11F is now leaving Anchorage from runway 32 with some interesting selection of cargo airplanes behinds. As this photograph was taken the moment after the sun broke through the peak of mountains, the orange hue gives us a warm atmosphere. In a reality, it is -9F (-22.8C) which makes me pretty cold; but, as you might know, I like crispy winter day so that I really enjoy what I am doing here!! |

N822BX (cn 45813/284) A rather disconcerting angle to be at this close to touch down. |

PP-VTJ (cn 48455/487) Ever seen a MD-11 lit up like a Christmas tree? The taxi lights of the AF 319 in the background create some nice "see-through" action on the engine. |

N605NW (cn 47223/300) At DTW, Northwest DC9's often pushback with reverse thrust ("powerback"). This is what happens when the airport crew leaves some of the ice and snow on the ramp. Very showy, but perfectly safe - for planes with tail-mounted engines. |

PH-KCI / CI-009 (cn 48563/593) The epitome of harmony between man and nature. Thousand of pounds of aluminiam coexisting peacefully with a flock of birds. The groundfog and many condensation trails only add to the moment. |

N950PB (cn 47394/458) How rare is THIS? I have been searching for this slide many years. Del new 24FEB69, also flew with Ozark and Aeropostal. Tfr to AM 15JAN80, and still in service as XA-JEB. Shot with a Petri FT SLR and some crappy slide film. |
