CS-TKN (cn 624) This month of November had been really good for us spotters, with so many different things coming by!! Not being a different A/C, this one deserved some attention... These pilots were caught in some wind shear, and it was really close to total disaster, since the wing almost touched the ground! You can also see the stress in main landing gear... At that time, there were gusts up to 44 knots of crosswind, and heavy turbulence was reported! I'm glad that everything ended up well.. [Canon 40D + Sigma 120-400 |

N584UA (cn 26706/559) Here is a different view of a parallel landing at SFO. An US A321 is over the numbers for 28R while an UA 752 is just beyond the numbers for 28L. An UA 744 (N104UA) is holding short of 28R. Note the hold bars between the two runways just barely fit the 747. To see a ground level view of this same landing, please see photo 779790 by I. Gunawan. |

N584UA (cn 26706/559) Parallel landing in progress while UA 744 (N104UA) squeezes in between the two runways. Also under US A321 front landing gear is a DL 757 on approach for OAK. Want to see how this scene looks from a bird's eye perspective? Check out photo 777174 by Ben Wang. |

84-0059 (cn 500-0083) Shot I wish I never had the oppurtunity to take. Please keep the crew of this C5 in your thoughts. From what I've heard every person seated in the nose section (which you can see is perpendicular to the rest of the aircraft) has a broken back. |

CCCP-85321 (cn 78A321) This photo was presented by Aviation Safety Inspection of Khabarovsk Airport. The Tu-154 came in well above the glide-path on finals to Chita-Kadala and was 'forced down' by the pilot, touching down 240 m before the runway threshold. The tail broke off and the gear struts collapsed as a result. |

N941DL (cn 49814/1602) I was lying in my bed at the hotel watching the aircraft arrivals and this MD-80 touched down right in front of the room. There were 2 loud bangs one after the other as both tyres burst on the rear right landing gear. The aircraft came to a skidding stop on the taxiway where flames started coming out from underneath. It took 4-5 minutes before anybody got out the emergency exits while the plane was burning on the ground. Sorry for the quality, it was an unexpected event! |

G-AMOA (cn 9) Oops! A BEA ground engineer was taxying the Viscount to a parking area, but lost control and the nose hit the fin and rudder of BEA 'Pionair' G-AGHS. Luckily, both aircraft survived the incident. Obtained from a ground crew member 50 years ago. |

9Q-CCW (cn 263) This is why flying in Congo has so much attraction to pilots: right after take off from Shabunda (FZMW), the pilot banks the empty CASA to the right, to make a low pass over the river nearby. |

CF-TJM / 813 (cn 45653/178) Result of a late aborted take off from 28R (now 27R). This was taken the next morning about 7.30am with the aircraft firmly embedded in the Cabbage field, note the underside of the cockpit section and the engines ripped out. All the identification marks except the registration and Ship No. 813 were very roughly painted out during the night. |

F-AZDP / 124143/RM-205 (cn 7449) The aircraft is seen returning and making a safe landing at Flying Legends despite having lost a substantial section of the wing as can be seen here. During the airshow finale it collided with a P-51 which crashed and was destroyed with the pilot making a rapid exit and escaping uninjured despite a low altitude parachute descent |
