NS898 / SY-Z This Mosquito FB.VI served 613 (City of Manchester) Squadron on active operations between 26 April 1944 and 10 March 1945, latterly when based at Cambrai-Epinoy in northern France. It has just been painted in 'D-Day stripes' for low level operations over Normandy to support the Allied landings. The stripes partially obscure its serial and code. Obtained 50 years ago.
