N727M (cn 22541/1797) I would like to dedicate my 1,000th photo on Airliners.net to all the people I’ve met hanging around airports, as well as the guys at Kamaka Air. The reflection of this mighty B727 made me reflect about the many great memories I've shared with them, and hopefully there will be many more to come! |

N624VA (cn 20327/797) Let's see what we got: there is a topless woman lying on the beach, we have a woman whose skirt is blown up by the jet blast and there is a beautiful classic airliner. What more can you ask for? |

N823AL (cn 23154/1078) To commemorate their 60th anniversary, Aloha Airlines painted N823AL into the Funbird colors of the 1970s. Red and yellow flowers can be seen on the bright orange tail, as well as on the classic cheat line. As a bonus, the belly and engines were also polished nicely. Flower Power is seen approaching runway 26R with the Koolau mountain range behind. What a classic Hawaii shot! |

TF-FIG (cn 24456/237) Boeing 757-200F, TF-FIG, photographed over slopes of Mount Hekla on March 6, 2000. The volcano erupted a week and a half before, but was now dormant. The new lava is still smoking and hot. This is the new all cargo 757. Pilot was Captain Páll Stefánsson. |

N588NW / 5808 (cn 32988/1024) I have observed many crosswind arrivals in LAS, some a bit hairy but none quite like this one. Flight 1850 flailing wildly on approach from MSP had to abandon the effort after several steep side to side swings and and a strong upward surge. The second approach was not much better but at least successful. It is not too often I become concerned for my own personal safety while spotting! Funny just after this the DE heavy turned out the approach and was seen circling east over the valley to take the 19's instead. |

CS-TEZ (cn 472) Amazing crosswind final !!! The aircraft route (against the wind) is about 30 degrees out of the runway heading and you can see how low it is by its shadow in the field... |
