I-DABA (cn 71) The presence of a UN support base in Entebbe has boosted the local economy. The location where this Caravelle and 707 (G-APFL) found their last resting-place has been developed into a little fun-fair called 'Aero Beach' with a bar and buffet. There were no signs of the former registration 9Q-CRU of the 'Aero Beach Craft', but on top of both wings the Alitalia-titles were still visible as well as regi I-DABA on top of the starboard wing. |

G-APFL (cn 17713/169) This ex-British airtours 707 has been flying around with the Ugandan registration 5X-CAU. When the aircraft was overpainted in the national colours its Ugandan regi completely disappeared, only the British regi is slightly visible under its port wing. Before this location was an open field, but since a few years it has changed into 'Aero Beach', inclusive of playground facilities, a bar, a buffet and a sand beach. |

These are the remains of Alpha Tango, that crashed on June 26th, 2004 during take off after birds struck two of its propellors. The plane caught fire and three years later four burned turbo props were still laying in the field. |
