3-6005 (cn H-05) F-14 Tomcat from TFB.8 Isfahan, now at TFB.4 Dezful. As Dezful is frontline base of IRIAF in war with Iraq, so this base tolerated high pressure from Iraq AF and army and Iraqi interceptors made difficulties for Iranian Tigers in some periods. In response of those situations presence of only pair of Tomcats were enough to runaway all intruders even only with radar lock! |
