YV380T (cn 22127/745) At Simon Bolívar International Airport this ageing 737-230 of Rutaca Airlines taxis past the terminal building for take off. The black exhaust plume marks on the fuselage of the aircraft seems to be characteristic of all Venezuela's airliners. I wonder if Rutaca would consider purchasing an A380 and transfer the registration of this bird over?.. |

PH-XRA (cn 30784/873) After seeing Tim De Groot's shots for years, among some other excellent AMS photogs, it convinced me to set the alarm for 4:15AM and walk down to RWY 6 to try my hand at some sunrise shots. It's alot harder than it looks and you only have a few minutes to capture the shot. My hat goes off to those that have had great success...the lesson I learned is practice practice and practice. I'll be back again one day to try again! |
