9M-MRD (cn 28411/84) Powerful take-off from Rwy 16! This happens to be my number 1000 on A.net, so big thanks go to the A.net family, in particular the crew, the fellow photographers, and last but not least to all the visitors who have been clicking on my pictures! It's been a hell of a ride so far, and only looking forward to more action :-). This one is especially dedicated to Maria Isabel [Canon Rebel XT + EF 70-200 f/4L USM]. |

9M-MRD (cn 28411/84) Man o man, nailed her!! Got myself soaking wet again for this one, but it was definitely well worth it! Difficult light conditions and all the rain coming down made this one quite hard to get. Details are there, though, just check out the main gear and all the water that gets blown around it. I just now noticed that the Malaysia decal is again shown on the outer side of the engine, while the "RR" sign is on the inside. |

NX51BZ (cn 2009-1) MFR 2009. NO, this is not photoshop. Two pilots, one photographer & one crazy guy carefully planned, talked about, practiced and executed this photograph. The jumper stood like this for over 3 minutes & 3 passes over the jump zone. Good balance, a very smooth pilot & smooth air made it possible. |

TF-UTA / 523 (cn 17265561) Taken close to the current eruption in southern Iceland, where molten lava has been coming up for a week. This is taken from CAP-10, TF-UFO through the plastic with a 28-70mm lens, as the closeness of the canopy does not allow a bigger lens. The lava fortunately came up between two glaciers, otherwise a major flood of melting glacier might have caused casualties and property damage. The eruption is at an altitude of 1100 meters and the temperature at the time of the photo was -15 degrees Centigrade. This has been a very big tourist attraction and many people have walked for over 5 hours from the south to the site and then back for another 5 hours. It took us 20 minutes from the airfield at Mosfellsbær. |

D-AIG* Somewhere near Berlin, a Luftie A340 is seen here coming down south, crossing our path. Seen from PH-BQC cruising at 40000 ft in our last hour of SIN-AMS. Sun had only just risen and was touching the horizon still, making the multiple layers of thin clouds turn various shades of orange. A beautiful sight to see. |

The reflection of this mighty B727 made me reflect about the many great memories I've shared with them, and hopefully there will be many more to come! |

N240NW (cn 48319/438) (ex HS-TMC) is departing for San Francisco as NW28 at Tokyo Narita. Long condensation trails are observed due to the heavy shower. I really appreciate the result that those trails are highlighted by the trees in behind. This photograph goes to my wife who is working for Northwest Airlines as a ground staff in Tokyo Narita Airport. She has got her passion for work from this unique three holers, DC-10 especially in this great color scheme. |
