This is a quite common few during the christmas holiday and new year´s eve when order books are traditionally empty. This year FRAport placed them on taxiway S beginning with "Papa" following "Fox", "Sierra", "Delta", "Bravo", "Alpha", "Lima" and "Juliett". |

Flying into Houston which is the Mission Control for NASA and the home base for the astronauts, this aircraft from the 307th Bomb Wing, Barksdale Air Force Base, Lousiana, flew special "Return to Human Spaceflight/Failure is not an Option" nose art designed by B-52 crew member Captain Kerry Baker. Also, the names of Astronaut Neil Armstrong and Flight Director Gene Kranz was painted on the window rails. Thank you Col. Jones, Capt. Baker and crew for supporting human spaceflight. |
